Congratulations on your outstanding performance in our 2014 Concert “IMAGINE. ” We were so incredibly proud of this production and all of your spectacular efforts. 2013 Enrolment information

Hi Everyone, We have been busily updating our Facebook page daily but thought it time we let all our new friends know that Stepping Out Dance Factory is now taking enrolments for our exciting New Year of Dancing. This year we will not be holding a specific enrolment day. Letters to existing students are going home this week and our website will be live with 2013 Enrolment Forms and Timetables in a few short days. Hair, Make up and Shoe requirments

HAIR & MAKE-UP REQUIREMENTS Please note that our website has a very comprehensive guide to Make Up & Hair. MAKE UP – Foundation, Powder, Blusher, white/cream eye shadow as base for eye, eye socket shaded with brown eye shadow(Seniors) Purple (juniors), black liquid eye liner, black pencil eye liner under eyes, black mascara, false eye lashes for STUDENTS 12 yrs & above, hot pink lipstick (under 12s) burgundy/crimson ( seniors.) TINY TOTS and 6 years and under Parents use your discretion. Lipstick, blusher, shadow and mascara will be sufficient but ensure it is bright as the lights are very strong and can wash out those gorgeous little faces and we really want to see those smiles. Students will also need to be aware that white, nude or plain underwear must be worn under costuming. BOYS- hair in own funky style. Make up at own discretion and depending on child’s fairness. Blusher or bronzer usually sufficient HAIR & OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH GROUP AS FOLLOWS; Please note all hair styles will need to be slicked back from face. The best technique is to use a fine tooth comb on damp hair and gel and hair spray to smooth hair and fringes off face. Please ensure you use hair bands in matching hair shade or clear elastic bands. Students with hair accessories please ensure that these are pinned firmly. Hats, hair ties, hair pieces and wigs need to be pinned thoroughly. HAIR and Shoes FOR EACH GROUP IS AS FOLLOWS: Future stars ½ up ½ down curled, Bare feet Junior Ballet 2 high ponytails buns, Ballet shoes and Ballet stockings Junior Jazz high side ponytail (on right) , Matte skin coloured tights and jazz shoes (preferably tan jazz shoes) Inter Ballet Low side bun on right (with braid for seniors optional for juniors), ballet stockings and ballet shoes Junior/Inter modern Low side ponytail (on right), ¾ ballet stockings bare feet or foot thongs Inter hiphop/jazz Low side ponytail (on right) Matte tan tights jazz sneakers Junior Performance high side ponytail (on right) Matte skin coloured tights and tan jazz shoes Disney Routines as per Disney performances SENIOR STUDENTS- side braid to right (front section) will form basis of all hair styles for Senior Students Senior Jazz- Low side pony tail with the braid (on right), tan jazz shoes ) Senior Modern Own individual style with braid, 3/4 ballet tights and bare feet or foot thongs Senior Performance Low side pony tail with the braid (on right), matte tan tights and jazz shoes • Matte skin/tan coloured tights can be brought from the sports store in Forbes or King Fisher uniforms in Orange or you can buy from department stores. Please ensure they are sheer to waist.

Changes to PERFORMANCE and SENIOR classes Saturday the 31st of March

Hi Everyone, There will be a change in class timetable for this Saturday only. I have to get back to Dubbo earlier then normal so i have decided to cancel performance for this week and move the senior classes into their timeslots. The performance students have a day of classes in the holidays so it shouldn't affect their routines at all. The timetable for this Saturday the 31st of March will be:
8:30am-9:00am Private
9:00am-9:45am Future Stars Jazz/Ballet
9:45am-10:30am Junior Ballet
10:30am-11:15am Junior Jazz/Hiphop
11:15am-12:00pm Intermediate Ballet
12:00pm 12:45pm Senior Jazz/hiphop
12:45pm- 1:30pm Senior Modern
1:30pm-2:15pm Junior Modern
2:15pm- 3:00pm Intermediate Jazz/Hiphop

I am very Sorry for any inconvenience. Saturday is the last day of classes for term 1. Please do not forget the holiday Performance and Disney classes on Thursday the 12th of April. Regards,Emma
